As you're sitting at your computer with 15 different tabs open, trying to organize your thoughts and make sense of your travel options, have you ever wondered if using a travel agent would be right for you? First of all let me say that a travel advisor can help with ANY travel plans and they are happy to do so! The question is, are YOU ready to try using a travel agent for your next vacation? If you answer yes to any of these three questions below, a travel agent is definitely for you!
- Do you want to save yourself time AND money? The average person spends 30 hours researching and booking each trip they take. That's a lot of time, and time = money! Asking a travel advisor to help you will cut your involved time down to an hour; two hours max. Not to mention the time and headache saved should something go wrong while you're on your vacation and you need help.
- Are you looking for the best VALUE in your trip? Remember. Value and cost are not the same thing. A travel advisor can see/know things that you may not. Sure, the price you find online my be super affordable, but does it tell you that the rooms are falling apart? Or that the entire hotel is currently under construction, so the pool and other amenities aren't available for the dates you're booking? Or that there's a huge festival happening that same week, so your resort is going to be super crowded? OR, that if you were to spend just an extra $100 to upgrade, you could end up with concierge, private lounges/pools and extra freebies? No. Google/Expedia/Costco does not have that information. And good luck trying to call them later to ask questions.
- Do you enjoy supporting small business? Then absolutely, booking with a travel advisor is for you. You will get personalized service and care that big box options won't provide. And, you'll be putting money directly into a family's hands versus a big corporation who doesn't notice. When you are booking by yourself online, you are STILL paying for a travel advisor, even if you're not using one (that cost is automatically built into their prices!). You may as well use that resource you're already paying for.
So, what do you think? Ready to try using a travel advisor for your next trip? I would be honored to help you book your family's next vacation. You can read all about me and my travel agency HERE.
