Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Travel! Each day, I will be highlighting a travel destination that I usually don't advertise or talk about, simply because there just isn't enough time. However, each of these destinations deserves their own bit in the spotlight.
On the first day of Christmas travel, I give to you: Iceland and a Northern Lights Tour
Fun Fact! Did you know Iceland has 13 Santas? Well, not Santa, but they have 13 Yule Lads (Jolasveinar), which are individual trolls that come and leave small gifts in the children's shoes the 13 nights leading up to Christmas.

This vacation offers you quite a bit of flexibility, as you will have a rental car for the duration of your trip. You can stick right around Reykjavik, or you can drive the southern coast. You will want to keep in mind that this trip will be during the winter months (October - April are the vest times for viewing the Northern Lights), so if you aren't super comfortable driving in winter conditions, you may want to limit your excursions.
For the sample price of $3200, that includes:
Hotel, mid-size SUV and a Northern Lights small group tour for a family of 4. This price does NOT include airfare.
While in Iceland, you could also check out:
Blue Lagoon
Visit Skogavoss Waterfall
Check out Langjokull Glacier
Go whale watching

Skogafoss Waterfall
There really are unlimited possibilities with a family vacation to Iceland. Want more information on booking your own trip? Simply fill out a travel request form and I will be in contact with you within 24 hours!
